Sujoy Ghosh, producer and director of Aladin And The Mystery Of The Lamp, had a special guest last week during the film''s shoot. Ken Livingstone, Mayor of London, was invited by Amitabh Bachchan on the sets after he expressed his desire of seeing a film''s shoot in India. Since the second schedule of the film is currently on at Film City, Big B, who plays ''Genius - The Genie in the film'', gladly invited him over to the sets.
Informs Sujoy, "The Mayor not just visited the sets but also gave a clap for one of the shots. He is aware about the legend of Aladin and found it exciting to witness a film being made on such a grand scale in India."
Talking about how the Mayor landed up on the sets, Sujoy says, "He came mainly as Mr. Bachchan''s guest. After witnessing the shoot, he expressed that it was a nice experience for him."

"Tell Riteish this; he would be very upset I am sure", says Sujoy with a mischievous smile, "Jackie is the leading lady and she plays the role of Jasmine. But hello, she is opposite Riteish. By the way how is the film shaping up? "We have wrapped up one mini schedule in Rajasthan. Ritiesh was there for an action sequence and I chose Rajasthan as the shooting location since there was this particular texture which was required for this sequence", informs Sujoy.
"Now we are a part of this marathon schedule in good old Mumbai. Though it won''t be one start to finish schedule for Aladin…, the film''s shooting would practically go on till the month of May."
