The set of Ahmed Khan's Fool N Final is in ashes due to an alleged fire which burned down the entire set. The set was built for Shahid Kapoor's song sequences in Filmistan. Says the film director Ahmed Khan, "The set caught fire yesterday in the morning and it must have been caused by a short circuit.” Equipment worth Rs70 lakhs has been completely destroyed because of the fire.
This is not the first time that this film's set has caught fire. Earlier in January last year while shooting in Film City with Sunny Deol and Shahid Kapoor, the entire helipad had caught fire.
Fool N Final will be Ahmed Khan's second directorial venture. The film has a huge starcast which includes Sunny Deol, Shahid Kapoor, Sunil Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Vivek Oberoi, Bipasha Basu, Arbaaz Khan, Ayesha Takia and Sameera Reddy. The film is produced by Firoz Nadiadwala.
